Review: I needed to get an interior and exterior detail of my sedan, and so decided to go with SCF because of all their wonderful reviews and happy customers. My sedan had mud in the carpet and general dirt and dust that needed to be cleaned out, and the owner of the shop told me that for $225 I could get everything done – including shampooing the carpets, cleaning the leather seats, and waxing/buffing the outside of my car.When we went to pick up the car, we realized that there was still an extensive amount of mud stuck to the carpet and even to the back of the front seat. Some of the mud looked like it hadn’t even been wiped off with a wet cloth. The exterior of the car still had pollen in the crevices near the trunk, and the gas cap had pollen stuck inside the well. The car had barely been cleaned, though the owner of the shop had told us he had done “everything”.I texted him the photos of the “after” (those of which I have attached to my review), and he was receptive and asked me to drive back to his shop to have it cleaned again. His shop is 30 minutes away from me, and so it was incredibly inconvenient to have to drive over to Manassas to leave my car there for another day, because he hadn’t done the job he had promised me properly. After pointing out all the spots he had missed, he cleaned it a bit better the second time, though the inconvenience of this expensive process made it less worth coming to his shop.I do not recommend going to SCF Auto detailing, as you will not get a good job done the first time but will have to pay a hefty amount of money for it anyway.
