At Car Pool, we believe there are some things that don’t need to change with the times. As the wash industry moves towards more automation and machinery, we have dug in our heels and kept many of our time held traditions: We’re still locally owned and operated. We still apply a lot of products by hand and every wash still comes with a towel dry. We still smile and say “thank you” for your business. We are customer focused. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your wash, there is a human being there whose job it is to correct the issue and get you on the road clean and happy.

Review: I’ve been coming to this car wash place for quite some time now. I always get the RVA Ceramic Wash. The first time they did an excellent job. For the most part the only thing they didn’t do was pop open the trunk of my car and clean out all the dirt, grime, and debris around my trunk seal. I had to do that myself with wet paper towels and clean that all out.The second time I went I ran into the same issue with them not cleaning the trunk and opening the trunk and finding all the leaves and debris so I had to clean it again on my own time. But also on the second visit, I noticed a lot of dirt at the very top of my windows that would only be seen if they rolled the windows down to completely clean them. Which they didn’t do which is no surprise.Today was the third time I went to this place I ran into the same issue as the first two previous times I went with my windows and the trunk seal not being cleaned. In addition like 5-6 guys worked on my car so I was out in less than 5 minutes. In my mind, I said there was no way that they thoroughly cleaned my car which was the case. They missed so many spots in the center console area as well as my steering wheel to be honest it doesn’t even look like they cleaned it. I’m very disappointed with how they work especially with a car wash being $45.00 paying for the top-of-the-line car wash.

Review: Today i purchased the $35 wash. I have to say i am extremely disappointed. the outside look immaculate but after my car was supposedly done, i noticed everything had been wiped down but not vacuumed. so after some consideration, i went back and explained my concerns, they were nice enough to vacuum my car again. i got in and was still dissatisfied. only my two from seats were vacuumed and the back seats hadn’t even been touched. i decided to not go back because clearly they don’t care, needless to say i will not be going back. here are photos for reference. this is after they supposedly cleaned it twice. i understand they were busy but that doesn’t mean we get a crappy clean.

Review: Took my car there last week and probably the worst car wash I’ve ever had. I didn’t get pictures of the inside before I cleaned it but they didn’t wipe down anything on the inside except the cup holders and the steering area. Seats, doors, radio screen, and middle console not even touched. Visible dirt all over the trunk, had to wipe the wheels, half the tires had uneven shine, dirty under door handles and around the headlights, big crud still on the front. Super disappointed and probably won’t go back. Used to really like that place but clearly lack of concern for doing it correctly and did bare minimum to get me out of there. $45 for extra nothing from the basic wash

Review: Since the 9850 Midlothian Turnpike changed their process, I was hesitant to try it but I did yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It was easy, faster, and nostalgic. I remember going to the self-wash drive thru where you put the car in neutral and let the track pull you through the wash tunnel. This is just like that and easy to do! The prices remained the same and my car came out free of leaves and dirt. I think it took me about 15 minutes from start to finish because most of the washing and wiping occurs in the tunnel now. I’ll definitely return. Only one thing left undone was a rear passenger floor mat was not replaced. It was in the car just not on the floor.

Review: *You really need to read this review!*So, I just left and yes I have a smile on my face! This week, I finished pulling out 9 boxwood bushes out of my front yard so my truck was filthy with tons of mud in the bed of my truck. (see pictures). Also look at how nice my truck looked when they were finished!I knew that I was kind of pushing it bringing my car to Carpool in the condition it was, but as a business owner, time is precious and I had to get back to see a client by 4:00pm.So first, I tip my hat to the manager JAKE. He offered me to pull my vehicle around back where he had one of the employees spray out the back of my truck and sprayed down the plastic mat I have in the bed of my truck also.The staff went “above and beyond” to make sure my truck was shiny and clean.I also want to thank the employees… Jae, and Cindy who also were very pleasant and helped make my experience nice. Oh, Jae… thanks for hooking up my cup holders! I noticed you went the extra mile and I appreciate it.As a business owner myself, I value good service, kindness, and making people happy. It doesn’t take much to spread some good Karma around and one of my favorite sayings from the movie Joe Dirt is “Good Things Come To Good People” and . “All’s I got to do is keep bein’ a good person. No matter what, good things’ll come my way. Everything’s gonna happen for me, just so long as I never have ‘No’ in my heart.”So next time there is a problem with your vehicle not being cleaned the way you like it, instead of leaving a bad review, SPEAK UP and simply ask the good folks at carpool about it and they will take care of it immediately with no questions asked.
